I've been really lacking in the photo blog world.

Fail.

I'm attempting a "re-vamp" of the blog this week though.

If you've noticed I've added and extra tab for weddings with just photos on it.

I plan to add more photos to that page and to also add more tabs for engagement, maternity, family and newborn photos as well!

Just trying to make it easier to view a plethora of my work!

So, for now, here's a quick update on some of the things I've been up to over the last few months!

Mini Sessions!

For the month of July I will be offering Mini Sessions for $75!

That's a half hour session with ten edited photos on a CD for you to keep!

BUT! If you sign up for photos during the week of the 5th-12th you can have your session for $50!

These sessions include: Newborn, Family, Senior, Headshot, Maternity and Engagement photos!

I photographed D & H yesterday and it was a blast!

The weather held out for the day and we were able to get some wonderful photos.

They have also decided to find NOT find out the gender before the big day and I must say, the suspense is gonna kill me!

Wedding: C & E

C & E had an evening wedding up at Timberline Lodge in December!

The Mountain was absolutely beautiful that day which just added to the Bride and Grooms gorgeous wedding.

The wedding was short and sweet with wonderful little moments sprinkled throughout. One of my favorites being when E took the time to give both of C's older daughters rings as well. Being a stepmom myself it was very touching to watch her promise to love and support them as well. Those two girls are very lucky!

Valentines Day Package!

I finished up B & L's maternity session over the weekend and captured some absolutely lovely pictures of her perfect belly.

This time is so short and precious in a womans life and I absolutely love to freeze it in time for them.

The Meier Family: Special Edition

This family is extra special to me in many ways!

My husband and Mr. Meier have been best friends since gradeschool.

I became very close to Mrs. Meier a while after they started dating.

BOTH of us started our very first pregnancy journey's within weeks of each other.

To top it all off, we were pregnant together AGAIN (even though it was only for 2 months) for our very last pregnancy journey.

The Meier family lives in California where Mr. Meier has been stationed and serves in the Air Force.

They visited for there little ones first birthday a couple months ago and I had the pleasure and honor of photographing them all.

Mrs. Meier just gave birth to a precious baby girl a couple weeks ago and I absolutely cannot wait to meet her!

I'm sure she is just as precious as her big sister.

Being a Mother is one of the most treasured experiences I've been able to have in my life. It's truly one of the closest bonds a person can experience.

So thank you out there to all of the mothers who have let me share a few moments of there happiness.

Each of you are beautiful, special and loved in so many different ways.

Thank you for letting me capture a very precious time in your lives.

When all you can think about is how important this little person is going to be.

And how important you're going to be in the shaping of there lives.

Thank you for allowing me to be there for those first wonderful weeks. Watching you fall more in love with your babies everyday is an absolute gift.

Thank you for letting me watch you enjoy your children.

Because these moments are REALLY what being a Mom is all about.

Thank you to my husband. He's given me the two best things in the entire world. Lily, who made me a mother from the moment I saw her. Getting to be her stepmother and watch her grow into a beautiful little girl has been an absolute treasure. Addison, who grew inside of me, who loves me unconditionally, who calls me Mommy.

To my Mother in Law. Thank you for being so accepting, for loving my children, for teaching my husband what it is to be a true man and father.

Finally, to my Mother. This is my best friend K. She has been in around for some of the most important parts of my life. I don't know what I would do without her. That's why it is so exciting for me to be around for her very first baby!

She's going to be having a little baby boy come July and she is so excited :)

Watching her grow into a Mother has been one of the best things in the world.
J and her are going to make wonderful parents :)

They're so wonderful with one another it's a joy to just be around them.

That and they're sickeningly cute :)

I get the pleasure of babysitting this little bundle of energy every so often!

My best friend lives in Colorado and doesn't get to visit very often, so when she does come I like to take photographs of her! She's a pretty good subject for me to practice on and I get tired of forcing my sister into it :)

That and she doesn't mind getting decent photos of herself either!

I met Todd & Cassie at a wedding I photographed in the summer of '08. They ended up emailing me about 6 months later with the happy news!

Cassie was a stunning bride and so fun and easy going.

Her wedding attendants were a great group of woman and blast to party with!

Todd and his guys definitly new how to kick back and have a great time!

The pastor (who has the best voice EVER) had to sneak in a few pics before we headed back in to the reception.

One of the wedding guests sang two songs for the Bride and Groom. She did an absolutely amazing job! What a voice!

The bride and groom had a little something special planned for there Best Man and Maid of Honor...

If only they'd known about it sooner...

Definitly a good way to start off the festivities though! They were great sports too!

Everyone danced into the night and had so much fun!

Katie and I went to school together from Kindergarten till highschool graduation! So when we met up for dinner one evening and she told me the big news and asked me if I'd be willing of course I said yes! She was absolutely stunning on her big day!

Geoff is a very lucky man if I do say so myself, and they are wonderful with each other.

There wedding party was super enthusiastic with the wedding photos :)

Watching Geoff and Katie together was great. You could just tell that they were meant for one another.

I LOVED her wedding flowers and if I could re-do my wedding I'd steal her florist.

The cake was de-lic-ious. Usually I don't have any but I just couldn't help myself!

Her name is Chimera and she is absolutely beautiful!

Daddy is in the air force and got to come home for 2 weeks when she was born. He's such a proud Papa and it's so wonderful to see him with his brand new daughter!
